The nrf51822 is a powerful, highly flexible multi-protocol SoC that is ideal for Bluetooth® low power and 2.4GHz ultra low power wireless applications. The nRF51822 is built on a 32-bit ARM® Cortex ™ M0 CPU with 256kB flash + 16kB RAM. The embedded 2.4GHz transceiver supports Bluetooth low power and 2.4GHz operation, of which the 2.4GHz mode is wirelessly compatible with Nordic Semiconductor's nRF24L series.

The nRF51822 also features a wealth of analog and digital peripheral products that can be interacted through a programmable peripheral interface (PPI) system without CPU involvement. The flexible 31-pin GPIO image scheme allows I / O (such as serial interfaces, PWM and sine demodulators) to be mapped to any device pins according to PCB requirements indications.
